Hilarious Things Every Millenial Can Relate To
People born between 1981 and 1996 are frequently referred to as millennials. If you were born anywhere between the early 80s and, say, the mid-90s, you’re a millennial. How do you feel about that?
This generation is incredibly different from the one before it, but it is also really different than the generation that came right after. Don’t believe us? Just spend five minutes on TikTok, and you’ll see that we’re not like those kids.
The good part is: being a millennial is a pretty sweet thing. We get to be more open-minded and accepting than the generation that came before us, so that’s a plus. And if you feel like reasserting your “millennial-ness,” here are some things that’ll show you our generation is made from the same mold.
Millennials have a love affair with air fryers.
Honestly, we’re not even exaggerating when we say that air fryers are, unarguably, one of the best inventions of the century. You probably have an air fryer in your kitchen.
Millennials love this appliance not just because it helps us eat healthily (no need to use oil when cooking things here, hello?) but also because it makes cooking way easier. Just put some seasoning on the food and put it in the air fryer.
Millennials have no money.
Back when our parents and grandparents were our age, things were so much easier. Or that’s how millennials feel about this. After all, our ancestors were getting married at 20 years old and owned a house by the time they were 25.
It’s funny when older people try to compare their journeys with ours. Well, it’s not like millennials don’t want to have the same things – it’s just that we can’t afford to have a house! Maybe one day we’ll get there…
Millennials make themselves sound older than they are.
It’s funny how the generations hate it when people compare them. A baby boomer hates getting compared to millennials. Millennials, in turn, hate it when people compare them to Gen-Z people. But the age gap between these two generations is so small that sometimes the line between them is blurry.
Millennials love acting like they’re much older than Gen-Z kids and will say random stuff like, “You probably don’t know the Backstreet Boys.” Well, keep in mind that some “Gen Zers” were literally born in the 1990s, so they experienced some of the things you did!
