They say the signs don’t lie. But what if the signs are just plain confusing? 

Whenever you visit a new town or city, it’s always a good idea for you to watch out for specific signs around public places – the bus station, public streets, the zoo, etc. However, while most signs can easily pass information that you need to know, there are also some signs that are flat-out confusing or even absurd. 

Here’s a list of some of the strangest signs ever developed. It’s not like these signs didn’t necessarily inform – it’s just that maybe the developers might have wanted to put in a little extra work to make them make sense.  

Alaska’s State Bird

Along the Grande Drive in Denali, Alaska, lies one of the strangest signs you’d ever see. The sign appears to depict a mosquito carrying a human being – something that seems like it was straight out of a horror movie. 

It’s still baffling to think about what they were trying to communicate here. Should humans beware of man-hauling mosquitoes?

“Wanted” ads are among the most beautiful sights in the world – especially for someone who’s not been so lucky to get a job yet. But this company appeared to be so desperate that they were opening their job postings to even “long-haired, freaky people.”
